Abstract

1,244,271. Stud-and-socket fasteners. GENERAL MOTORS Ltd. 9 April, 1970 [22 April, 1969], No. 20413/69. Heading E2B. Plastics foam insulation 13 is secured to a refrigerator liner 10 by means of a stud and socket fastening, the socket 3 having wings 5 for keying with the foam and a foam-seal 4, and the stud 2 having latching limbs 7 and a foam-sealing wall 6 in its central aperture. A screw 14 may be inserted into the aperture to secure an accessory 15 in the refrigerator.
