Abstract

1345966 Window fastenings J W TAYLOR 20 July 1972 [21 April 1971] 10323/71 Heading E2A A hinged window 22 is fastened with respect to its frame 2 by a screw 17 which engages in a threaded sleeve 21 in the window frame and whose head 18 is guided in a sleeve 14 pressed into a housing 1 secured to the frame by a screw 3. This screw is inserted through hole 10 but is concealed by the sleeve. A special key having a slotted end for rotating the head of the screw, is described (Fig. 4, not shown).
