1276846 Stud-and-socket fastenings WARD & CO (LETTERS) Ltd 24 Oct 1969 [25 Oct 1968] 50693/68 Heading E2B A stud-and-socket fastener comprises a rigid plastics stud part 10 and a resilient plastics socket part 12 having an enlarged region 26 for receiving the head 16 of the stud. The socket may be secured by a screw in hole 33 or by a rebated plate (40) holding its flange, this plate being glued or screwed (Figs. 3 and 4, not shown).
