1358603 Floor mounted latches E G ANDREWS 14 March 1972 [26 March 1971] 8220/71 Heading E2A A door or gate fastener has a latch member 13 pivoted at one end to a body 10 in the ground or in a floor and spaced from an abutment 31 to define a recess 30 therebetween, the body having resilient means 15 urging the member away from the body but having a stop 18 to limit such movement. The abutment may be integral with the latch member and in the form of a scroll 31, as shown, or it is attached to the body at an end thereof remote from the pivot.
