Abstract

The invention relates to devices of the type of a mechanism for closing gate leaves. This invention consists of a stop piece equipped with a mechanical device allowing one or both leaves of a gate to be blocked using one's foot. It comprises a support piece 7 forming a stop 12, 13 equipped with a cam 4 which pivots between two stubs 10. One or other of the leaves slides on one or other of the edges of the cam to end up in abutment. Depending on the position given to the cam, the latter blocks one or other of the leaves or blocks just one or both elements simultaneously by virtue of the stub 14 fixed on one of the leaves. Amongst the most beneficial applications of the invention, mention may be made of its use as a positioning (hanging) accessory for installing new gates positioning and adapting existing gates.

Portail en position fermée : Pour ouvrir le premier vantail, on fait pivoter à l'aide du pied la came vers le second vantail qui reste bloqué. Puis l'on fait pivoter la came à l'opposé pour ouvrir le second vantail.
