Description
DESCRIPTION
A DOOR HOLDER SYSTEM
Field of the Invention
The present invention relates to a stainless steel door holder system which stops the door when it is opened and locks it in open position, has spring and pedal.
Background of the Invention
Today, magnetic, mechanic or hooked door holders that can be supplied from any hardware store are used in order to prevent the doors of especially boat, motorboat from hitting around against the will of the user. These products enable the doors to stay in open position by pressing the door or holding magnetically. However these products which are used cannot provide enough holding and cause the door to hit around by being released from the door weight during driving. The doors hitting against the desire of the user create noise and negatively affect driving performance and comfort. Japanese Patent Document no JP2010101075(A), an application known in the state of the art, discloses a door stopping mechanism. The mechanism operates by pushing and pulling the hinged door. The movable piece present in the mechanism operates with a hooking receiver against the energizing spring. When the door is pushed, the second engaging part is engaged with the first protrusion to incline a plate cam. When the door is pulled, the first engaging part is engaged with the cam hole and the second engaging part abuts the cam groove. The plate is brought to locked position in order to hold the movable piece and holds the door in open position. Japanese Patent Document no JP2008190314 (A), an application known in the state of the art, discloses a door stop which can hold the door fixed in fully open
position. The magnet is installed on the door, and the magnet plate is installed on the ground such that it can move in vertical direction.
Summary of the Invention
The objective of the present invention is to provide a door holder system which enables the door not to be opened without the interference of the user when the door is locked with stopper when it is in open position.
Another objective of the present invention is to provide a door holder system which does not distract the driver and provides driving safety by preventing door from hitting and making noise. Yet another objective of the present invention is to provide a door holder system which is produced from stainless steel in order not to be an eyesore for the user.
A further objective of the present invention is to provide a door holder system which provides ease of use by mounting all mechanism components as a whole.
Detailed Description of the Invention
"A door holder system" developed to fulfill the objective of the present invention is illustrated in the accompanying figures wherein,
Figure 1 is the isometric view of the door holder system.
Figure 2 is the top view of the door holder system.
Figure 3 is the view of the A-A section shown in Figure 2.
Figure 4 is the side view of the door holder system.
The components given in the figures are assigned reference numerals as follows:
Door holder system
Stopper
2.1. Cylinder
2.2. Protective wear
Pedal
Spring mechanism
Plate
The inventive door holder system (1) which is mounted on the ground and does not open without user interference when it is locked essentially comprises
At least one stopper (2) which enables to stop the door (K),
- At least one pedal (3) which compresses the door (K) between itself and the stopper in open position,
- At least one spring mechanism (4) which enables the pedal (3) to move downwards and upwards with its own weight,
At least one plate (5) which enables to bring the stopper (2), pedal (3) and the spring mechanism component together, and provides ease of use by mounting the system on the ground as a whole.
The invention relates to a door holder system (1) which is mounted on the ground as a whole, wherein the pedal (3) moves downwards due to the weight of the door (K) while the door (K) is opening and upon the door (K) contacts the pedal (3), the door (K) stops by hitting to the stopper (2) by the door (K) slipping through the pedal (K) when the pedal (3) completely moves downward, and wherein the pedal (3) enables the door (K) to be locked between the pedal (3) and the stopper (2) by the pedal (3) released from the weight of the door (K) to move upwards.
When the user wants to close the door (K), s/he steps on the pedal (3) and enables the door to be released from the lock and close.
In the preferred embodiment of the invention, the stopper (2) comprises
- A cylinder (2.1) which is cut from metal bar and on which the boat logo can be modeled,
Protective wear (2.2) which is coated around the cylinder in order to damp the hit of the door (K), prevent noise when the door is opened and closed the surface to be damaged due the effect of hitting.
In one embodiment of the invention, the cylinder (2.1) is cut from stainless shaft.
In one embodiment of the invention, the protective wear (2.2) coated around the cylinder (2.1) is manufactured from rubber or leather.
The pedal (3) moves downward upon the door (K) passes on it, and moves upwards again with the effect of spring after it is released from the door weight and locks the door in open position. By this means the pedal (3) functions as a door holder.
The pedal (3) going upwards and downwards is provided with the spring mechanism (4).
In the preferred embodiment of the invention, the pedal (3) is produced from stainless steel and it is in shape of bow of a filled circle.
In one embodiment of the invention, the plate (5) which holds the pedal (3), stopper (2) and spring mechanism (4) components together and provides ease of use by mounting as a whole is manufactured from stainless steel.
The stopper (2) and the pedal (3) are ' placed on the plate (5), and the spring mechanism (4) is placed under the plate (5).
Installation of the door holder system (1) is provided by inserting into the ground.
