1426246 Stud and socket fastenings RONSON PRODUCTS LTD 11 March 1974 [12 March 1973] 11744/73 Heading E2B In an assembly including two components 1, 2 to be secured together, the component 2 has an integral rigid member, e.g. spaced lugs 5, 6 upstanding therefrom and the component 1 has an integral, upstanding expansible member, e.g. spaced lugs 3, 4 which when expanded as by a self-tapping screw 7, is brought into frictional engagement with the lugs 5, 6 to secure the components together. In a modification, the expansible member comprises a split tubular body received in a hollow skirt.
