Abstract

1,135,134. Furniture joints. PHILLIPS ELECTRONIC & ASSOCIATED INDUSTRIES Ltd. 26 June, 1967 [29 June, 1966], No. 29362/67. Heading A4H. A bracket 1 for fastening together the edges of two panels extending at an angle toeach other has at least two limbs 2, 3 of strip form disposed in a common plane and bosses 4 extending along the free ends of the limbs. Each limb is disposed in a slot (9) and each boss in a hole (10) in the panel with the panel at right angles to the plane of the limbs. The bracket may have three or four limbs and the angle between the limbs may be less than 90 degrees. Two headed screws 5 may be screwed into the ends of the bosses; the bosses may be cylindrical or conical and may have collars.
