Abstract

A fastener for securing together two panel members comprises a male member 25 secured to one panel member by a plate 29, having a screw thread so that its position can be adjusted axially, and a female member 17 secured to the other panel member and having a keyhole slot (12) Fig. 3 not shown, and a tapered rear face 18. As the head 22 of the member 25 is moved from the widest part of the slot (12) to the retaining part, the face 18 draws the two panels together. The member 25 may be made captive in the plate 29 by a split pin.
