Abstract

1314063 Extensible tables P I FINESTONE 19 April 1971 [12 Feb 1970] 6816/70 Heading A4H [Also in Division E2] A system of table top units comprises two or more basic units A of circular form and one or more separate auxiliary units E, Fig. 8, having concave surfaces (e, d) of the same radius as the units A. An annular assembly may be formed from units A and auxiliary units (F), Fig. 9, (not shown). A straight line assembly may be formed from units A and auxiliary units (C), Fig. 6, (not shown). Two straight line assemblies may be connected at right angles by a spur unit (D), Fig. 7, (not shown). The parts are connected by inter-engaging projections 2 and sockets, latches and/or by a mild steel strip on one unit co-operating with mild steel segments G1, G2 and permanent magnets M1 to M8 on another unit.
