Abstract

1,201,760. Refrigerating vehicles. DAIMLERBENZ A.G. 26 March, 1969 [26 March, 1968], No. 15374/69. Heading F4H. In a motor car provided with a compression refrigeration system, the condenser 5 is cooled by a separate air stream from that used to cool the rotary piston engine 1 of the car. A fan 6 is located between the condenser and the compressor 4, the drive for the fan and compressor being taken from the fan 2 used to cool the radiator 3. The compressor 4 and fan 6 may be put into and out of operation by an electromagnetic clutch controlled by a switch 8 in the passenger compartment. The evaporator is also in said compartment.
