1,192,415. Agitating by gas jets. F. H. SPICER and A. M. CLAYTON. 5 April, 1968 [5 Jan., 1968 (2)], Nos. 42281/67 and 818/68. Heading B1C. [Also in Division Fl] Apparatus for mixing liquid animal feeding stuffs comprises a container 1 to which air is supplied from a compressor 6 through a distributor 8 to mix the contents, the vent cock 16 being open. When the vent cock is closed the container is discharged through pipe 10, 10' to feed line L by air pressure; there is a pressure relief valve 13. By closing the valves 12 and 16 air may be supplied through bleed pipe 18 to blow through the feed line. In a modification the cover plate 4 of the charging aperture may be replaced by a flap valve held closed by air pressure.
