[Also in Divisions A5 and B8] In a vessel for liquid animal feed upper opening 4 is covered by a snap-on lid 3 having a self closing valve 14 to let air in to replace liquid removed through a feeding device (not shown) threaded onto nozzle 2. The top of the lid is generally flat to enable the vessel to be inverted and stood on the lid as a base, when the valve 14 will close and prevent loss of liquid.
