Abstract

118,877. Symons, A. S. Sept. 7, 1917. Turning.-A tool for a precision lathe for cutting gauge screws &c. is clamped against the under face of an extension of the tool-holder. The tool D has its upper and right faces carefully ground and is held against the face J while it is clamped against the face of two extensions B by a cradle E, which has set-screws H to engage the upper faces of the extensions. The faces C are square with the tool-holder A and with the work when used for parallel cutting.
