The bar is adjustable for diameter and is clamped by hook bolts s engaging in grooves r or by bolts passing through slots in the bar. Tool-holders.-The shank h of the tool-holder is held in the ordinary tool-box and the tool c is clamped by a plate p, tongued at one end to engage a groove in the holder and secured at the other end by a screw d. The screw e bears on the tool and provides adjustment for tools of varying thickness.
