Abstract

1,184,548. Prefabricated buildings. P. B. DENNIS. 18 Sept., 1967 [17 June, 1966], No. 27279/66. Heading E1A. A prefabricated building, such as a greenhouse, hangar, garage or shelter for workmen during building operations consists of a series of base elements, see Fig. 5 (not shown), which are anchored to the ground to define a polygonal floor area and detachably receive wall panels arranged in sets 18, 40, 41 detachably interconnected in side by side and superimposed relationship. The panels may be made of aluminium, fibre glass, acrylic sheet, hardboard or flexible polyethylene sheeting mounted on a rigid wooden frame. The building is created with the aid of a removable central post, see Fig. 8 (not shown) carrying a detachable ring frame which forms the apex of the building.
