Abstract

118,244. Dongrie, R. F. D. March 28, 1918. Valves; valve-gear.-A sleeve valve E is inclined to the cylinder axis and rotates between a cover C and a cylinder extension B. The valve ha,s its inlet and outlet ports located in different planes, the number of ports depending upon the speed of rotation of the valve. Rotation of the valve is effected by a worm G engaging peripheral teeth H. The worm G is axially adjustable upon its driving shaft.
