Abstract

1,161,600. Display stands. MARLER HALEY (MFG.) Ltd. 15 Dec., 1966 [23 Dec., 1965], No. 54609/65. Heading A4B. A display stand comprises a closed horizontal frame 2 of angle iron supported on tubular legs 3 and vertical panels 4 releasably supported on the frame by means of elongate plastics strips 5 each comprising an upright portion secured by staples 6 to a panel and a hook portion (8) engaging the angle iron. The upright portion of the strip 5 may have two upwardly facing gullies (15) and two downwardly facing gullies (16) forming runners for sliding doors. The stand may have two horizontal frames and the panels may span the height between them. The panels may constitute cupboard doors or up and over doors or the panels may have runners for drawers or supports for shelves. A saddle (19) secured to the edge of a panel embraces the legs of the stand. The legs may be telescopic.
