Abstract

1323225 Shelving OSF INDUSTRIES Ltd 20 July 1971 [29 June 1971] 33962/71 Heading A4B A display stand capable of erection without the use of bolts includes at least one end unit A, B comprising spaced posts 10, 11 with horizontal shelf support arms 12, 13 serving as feet, a stabilizer bar 30 inter-connecting the free ends of the arms 12,13, a panel 8 supported at its vertical edges in channels 25 on the posts 10, 11, an intermediate assembly including an intermediate post 17 extending upwardly from the midlength of an horizontal arm 16 serving as a foot and defining an upwardly open channel 9, a base shelf 31 supported on the arms 12, 13 and having a flange 32a engaged in the channel 9, and a finishing member 18 in the form of a downwardly open channel which inter-connects the posts 10, 11, 17 and receives the upper edge of the panel 8. The stand includes further intermediate assemblies F which together with the end units serve to support further base shelves 39, 49 and divider panels 44. The intermediate posts include openings 23 for engagement by shelf brackets.
