1301239 Shelving FRITZ SCHAFER GmbH 21 July 1971 [22 July 1970] 34264/71 Heading A4B A shelving unit comprises a top 11 and a base 1 with respective corner stubs 40-43 and 27-30 for engagement in the ends of uprights 7-10 and 2-5, and an intermediate shelf 6 with corner stubs 35- 38 extending upwardly and downwardly for engagement in the opposite ends of the uprights 7-10 and 2-5, a pair of adjoining walls 47, 48 of each stub 35-38 being continuously over the full height of the stubs and the upper ends of the lower uprights 2-5 being notched to receive the shelf 6 so that aligned uprights, e.g. 5 and 10, make direct abutment at their ends 44, 45. Further shelves 26 may be supported on lugs 25 pressed out of the uprights. Slots 16 in the base, top and shelves may be utilized to support partitions. Holes 17 in the parts 1, 6, 11 may be engaged by rods of grid walls.
