Abstract

1,261,512. Shelving. KEELES OF HADLEIGH Ltd. Jan.31, 1969 [Nov.7, 1967], No.50556/67. Heading A4B. A shelving assembly comprises vertically spaced beams 8 detachably supported by and between spaced uprights 5, and a plurality of hod-shaped receptacles 4 detachably supported by the beams 8, each receptacle 4 comprising a shelf with a rear wall 20 and two end-walls 21, 22 and the rear wall 20 having a hooked upper edge 23 engaged over a side wall of an upwardly open channel in an upper beam 8 with the rear wall bearing on a lower beam 8. The beams 8 may have apertured and plates 9, Fig. 1, detachably bolted as selected holes 7 in the uprights 5. Alternatively, Fig. 5, hollow beams 44 are longitudinally aligned by fitment over lugs 43 on opposite sides of a bracket plate 40 with hooks 42 selectively engaged in holes 39 in the upright. Partitions 27 have edge projections engageable in slots 25 and holes 26 in the receptacle 4.
