Abstract

1,230,385. Shelving. P. ROUS. 5 July, 1968 [7 July, 1967], No. 32338/68. Heading A4B. A shelving structure includes spaced uprights 1 of hollow T-shaped cross-section interconnected by shelf bearers 10 provided at each end with hook-like lugs 11 which selectively engage apertures 6 in spaced walls 5a or 5b forming the leg of the T. Vertical edges 9 of internal walls 8 are spaced apart to receive vertical partitions. The bearer 10 has an L-shaped bottom edge ledge 13, 14 to support a downturned end flange of a shelf having a top surface flush with a top flange 15 on the bearer 10. The bearer 12 has a notch 16 which receives walls 5a, 8 of the upright 1. In a modification (Figs. 5, 6), the apertures (6a) are of inverted L-shape and the bearer (10a) has an horizontal lug (17) which engages the horizontal part of the L.
