Abstract

764,799. Cabinets. AMERICAN RADIATOR & STANDARD SANITARY CORPORATION. Feb. 9, 1955 [May 21, 1954], No. 3861/55. Class 52 (1). A sheet metal knockdown cabinet structure comprises a pair of interchangeable base cabinets 2, 3 held spaced apart by rails 4, 5 a top frame 6, bottom frame 7 and front panel structure 8, the mÚmbers having interengaging portions. The top rail 4 has tongue portions 53, 56 engaging slots in the base cabinet walls and the bottom rail 5 has similar tongues. Each base cabinet has side walls 9, 10, a rear wall 11, a top wall 13, secured by welding, a bottom wall 14 and a front frame member 12 with a crossbar 45 secured to vertical members 43, 44 parallel to upper member 42 and adapted to support a drawer member. The frame member 12 receives either a full length door or a door to close the opening below member 45. Vertical members 125, 126 of front panel structure 8. receive a pair of doors or a panel member to close the opening therebetween.
