Abstract

1,168,332. Uprights for bracket assemblies. SOC. DE FABRICATION ET DE DIFFUSION. 19 Jan, 1967 [8 Aug., 1966], No. 2888/67. Heading A4B. A channel section upright 1 for supporting brackets 8 comprises a base wall 10 with a substantially flat outer face and equal depth side walls 4 and includes vertical rows of slots 3 passing through the base wall 10 and disposed between adjacent, parallel longitudinal ribs 5 extending inwardly from the base wall 10. Brackets 8 are hooked into selected slots 3. Longitudinal grooves 2 in the outer face of the base wall 10 serve to locate nails or screws (6) driven through the grooves 2 and into a supporting wall 7.
