Abstract

1319908 Shelving FRITZ SCHAFER GmbH 4 Aug 1971 [5 Aug 1970 10 April 1971 7 July 1971] 36659/71 Heading A4B [Also in Division E1] A shelving rack 1a comprises spaced rectangular frames 2 including hollow posts 13 defining therebetween a longitudinal passage through the rack, bearer strips 3 for shelves or the like extending longitudinally of the rack and releasably secured by a non-bolted connection to the posts 13, and in which, at intermediate posts 13, some of the strips 3 are secured to the post to extend continuously across it and some of the strips 13 are disposed end to end at their junction with the post 13. The strips 3 may have tabs 43, Fig.4, engaging apertures 19 in the posts 13. Alternatively, Fig. 16, tabs 80c, 80d pressed out of the posts 13 may engage apertures 86, 87 in the strips 3. Several similar racks may form a part of a building provided with ventilation ducts. Rails 23 may be fitted at the floor of the passage. For figures see next page.
