980,199. Shelving. L. MASLOW. April 4, 1962, No. 12957/62. Heading A4B. A shelving unit 20 has two upper side members 21 and two side members 22 welded to cross-members 23, 24 and longitudinal members 25 forming a shelf surface, the end cross-members 24 being cut away to form gaps 26 and disposed about members 25 either side of the gap are slide locks 27 each consisting of an outward facing channel member with apertures through which pass the longitudinal members 25. To assemble units 20 into shelving, clips or brackets 33 Fig. 7 are used to connect shelves to uprights, the clips having an anchor portion 36 with locking tip 37 which is inserted between the side members sideways and then turned, a hook portion 38 with a slot 39, engaging the uprights.
