Abstract

739,425. Shelf-supporting brackets. ATTWOOD, C. W. Feb. 10, 1954, No. 3901/54. Class 52 (5). A shelf-supporting bracket comprises a resilient U-shaped element 15 having hooks 15A embracing inwardly directed flanges 10A along a slot in a channelled upright member 10 and abutments 15B resting against the slotted face 10B of the channelled member. The hooks 15A are provided with projections 16 abutting the inner edge of the flanges 10A to prevent accidental displacement of the brackets and projections 17 to penetrate wooden shelves, or enter apertures in metal shelves, supported by the bracket.
