Abstract

816,356. Brackets. PIRA, O. March 27, 1957, No. 10028/57. Class 52(5) An adjustable shelf assembly comprises apertured uprights 1 and shelf supporting brackets 5 having aligned arms 6, 7, transverse to the length of the shelf 4, an upwardly directed retaining finger 9 at the junction of the arms, and a finger 10 below the finger 9. The finger 9 having been inserted in an aperture 12 in the upright, the bracket is distorted, so that the finger 10 can be inserted in a second aperture in the upright and fingers 11 in apertures 13 in the shelf. The resilience of the bracket locks the shelves firmly to the uprights.
