Abstract

757,372. Cabinets ; shelving; drawer fittings. GUGELOT, H. May 12, 1954, No. 13948/54. Class 52(1). Cupboards, shelving, &c. are constructed of horizontal components 1, 2 and vertical components 3 held together by screw-threaded stabilizing rods 4 interconnecting components 1, 2. The vertical components 3 have rubber studs 12 fitted into the abutting ends and which become flush when the rods are tightened but press against the horizontal components to ensure immobility. Alternatively the components may fit together loosely by means of tongues and grooves and be secured by the stabilizing rods. Rails 32 of H-section may be arranged on the rods 4 to guide and support drawers 31, Fig. 10, or a shelf or partition 34, Fig. 11.
