Abstract

1,162,241. Furniture joints; stands. MARLER HALEY (MFG.) Ltd. 12 Oct., 1966 [15 July, 1965], No. 30137/65. Headings A4H and A4U. A knock-down, plywood, display stand comprises end members 1 slotted at 5, 7, a shelf member 2 slotted at 10 and having tongues engageable in the slots 5, and a bracing member 3 formed with hooks 8 and tongues 9, the members being interlocked by insertion of the hooks 8 in slots 7 and downward movement of the member 3 to engage the hooks 8 with cut-away lower ends 7a of the slots 7, and to engage the tongues 9 with slots 10. Slots 12, 13 engage slots in the lower edge of a top member 4 and receive the ends of garment supporting rails, respectively. In modifications, the end and bracing members are rectangular, slotted supports for shelves
