Abstract

1289101 Cabinets; shelving; combination furniture STAINES METAL PRODUCTS Ltd 30 Oct 1969 [30 Oct 1968] 51448/68 Headings A4B and A4H A furniture unit comprises an open frame 1-3 to which opposed side panels 4 are secured, each panel 4 being of corrugated metal or plastics with the corrugations extending horizontally and providing support ledges or slides for cupboards, drawers or shelves. The unit may form a desk in which a shelf forms the desk top. A back panel may have spigots removably engaged in sockets defined between the corrugations and the adjacent vertical frame member 1. The back panel may have a blackboard surface on its rear, outer face. Castors wheels 6 may be provided at one end and feet 7 at the opposite end. Alternatively, castor wheels 6 may be provided at both ends.
