Shelf-supporting columns 10 have bearers 13 attached thereto to carry an open-sided dismountable cabinet. The sides 22, 23 and top 27 of the cabinet may be omitted leaving the bottom 17 as a shelf (Fig. 5, not shown). Modified brackets 20 join the top 27 to the sides 22 which may also have hook-like projections to engage slots 11. Sides 22 and 23 are interconnected by a slotted angle junction piece (Fig. 4, not shown). Hooks 16 of stringer 14 engage side slots 12.
