In one embodiment, Figs. 1, 5, the display unit 5 comprises shelves 6 with hooked portions 59 engaged with tabs 58 on an inclined panel 49 supported by brackets 55 and by the storage unit 4. A lighting unit 86 is carried by extension members 87, 96 and 88, 95. Back and panels are fitted and the stand has adjustable feet 12. In another embodiment, Fig. 11, shelves 101 are carried by brackets having a mounting portion 103 with hooks 104, 105 for engaging the slots 27 and a toothed section 106, the teeth being engageable by a pawl 107 to angularly adjust an arm 110 carrying the shelf 101.
