Abstract

115,905. Jones, C. A. May 24, 1917. Folding hand-trucks. - A luggage-carrier is of folding X-frame construction, with a flexible sheet A at the top ends of the frame and wheels C at the lower ends. The carrier may comprise a pair of X-frames connected by cross-bars A<3> as shown. A single frame only may, however, be used, strengthened by the duplication of one member and having lateral extensions secured to the upper ends to give the necessary width for the attachment of the flexible sheet A. Straps B' are attached to the sheet A for securing the luggage Instead of a canvas sheet, one or more chains may be employed. A. folding strut D may extend between the frames.
