Folding and collapsible vehicles.-A folding perambulator or other vehicle comprises a pair of rectangular frames a, b hinging upon longitudinally arranged pivots d, and a flexible body m of canvas or leather with a stiff band or frame m<2> suspended as shown from the pivots d or by vertical coil-springs from the top bars a<1>, b<1> of the frames a, b. Each frame a, b is formed with, or has fixed thereto, a rectangular wheel frame e in which is mounted a pair of wheels h on short axles. Jointed bars k extend between these wheel frames and hold the framework unfolded. A jointed handle n may be added. The body is provided with end seats and is prevented from swinging about the pivots d by a catch m<5>. A canopy r is carried by the frames a, b and may be further supported and cambered by a pair of bars extending diagonally between the ends of the top bars a<1>, b<1>.
