Folding vehicles.-In a perambulator of the kind in which the wheel-carrying frames can be folded laterally beneath the main frame, the parts are held in the extended position by strut members which are in two parts d, d' jointed together and are pivoted at their ends to the main frame c and to the wheel-carrying frames a. Each frame a is fitted with one such strut at each end of the vehicle, and the two struts pivoted to the same frame a are in each case connected beyond their points of pivoting on the frame c by a longitudinal bar d<2>. The propelling-handle frame i is connected to loops e embracing the bars d<2> so that the loops e are depressed to fold the frame a when the frame i is folded down. One loop e is carried by a bar f rigidly fixed to the corresponding side member g. The second loop e is pivoted by one limb of the loop to a shorter bar f pivoted to the corresponding side member g, and is riveted to a radius bar f<1> pivoted to the frame c. Bv this construction the frame a operated from the second loop e is folded in advance of the other frame a. The handle frame i is held in the extended position by the usual hinged struts j.
