Abstract

1,127,649. Dry shavers. PAYER-LUX EDUARD PAYER. 7 Dec., 1965 [9 Dec., 1964; 5 Feb., 1965], No. 51922/65. Heading B4B. A cutter head for dry shavers comprises a perforated stationary blade 1, which is held on the cutter head body by means of screws 5, a blade-carrying frame 3 which is detachably connected to the cutter head body, a blade 2 which is reciprocable in contact with the blade 1, and two resilient elements, e.g. springs 8, each having one end secured to the blade 2 by a pin 9 and the opposite end connected to a slide member 10 bearing on a slide face 12 provided on the frame 3, the face 12 being formed with bulges 13. Preferably, the slide member 10 consists of plastics material and the slide face 12 of steel or graphite bronze. The ends of each resilient element may be smaller in diameter than the intermediate portion thereof.
