Abstract

112,249. Teisseire, H. April 28, 1917, [Convention date]. Hinges.-Relates to hinges for convertible open and closed carriages, and in which the window frames are independent of the carriage doors. The door hinge is adapted to receive a connecting pivot part of the removable window frame, the hinge pin and the pivot being in co-axial relation. The pivot may fit a bore t in hinge pin b, or may be bored out to receive a projecting part of the hinge spindle. By suitably fixing the window frame above the door, the two may be opened or closed together. The hinges are embedded in the thickness of the carriage body and door.
