111,341. Marks, E. C. R., (Merrell-Soule Co.). Nov. 24, 1916. Milk preparations.-A soluble modified milk is prepared by blending milk and added cream with whey, maintaining the mixture at a temperature of from 170-180‹ F. to reduce the bacteria without affecting the enzymes, condensing in vacuo, and then spraying at a high pressure into moisture-absorbing air, whereby a substantially dry soluble powder composed of spherical particles is obtained.
