A miniature battery lamp for mounting on a key 11 consists of a casing having an open top, a partially open bottom and an apertured front, a tab 18 being mounted to overlie the bottom opening forming a slot to receive the handle 11a of the key, a cartridge unit enclosed in the casing and consisting of a disc-shaped battery 28, a bulb 26 arranged to project light through the apertured front and a leaf spring 27 mounted on the top of the cartridge and connected to the lamp, the casing having a spring closure plate 21 at the top pressure on which brings the leaf spring 27 into contact with the battery. The plate 21 is connected to a bottom plate 22 having a threaded opening in -register with an opening in the tab 18 through which a screw 24 is passed to secure the key in position. The cartridge may be of the form described in Specification 1,058, 466.
