641,883. Lamp holders. PHILIPS LAMPS, Ltd. Aug. 13, 1946, No. 24001. Convention date, Nov. 5, 1942. [Class 38 (i)] A lamp holder 1 consists of insulating material with one or more ridges 3, arranged externally on the bottom of the lamp holder. That part of the bottom not provided with ridges 3 is provided with an aperture 4 for a screw which secures the lamp holder on a plate 5, provided with an aperture corresponding in shape with that of the ridge 3. A protective cap may be used to cover the bottom of the lamp holder, the fastening screw passing into the cap through the lamp holder and plate 5 (Fig. 3, not shown).
