1,039,575. Rolling. DAVY & UNITED ENGINEERING CO. Ltd. Dec. 8, 1964 [Sept. 9, 1963], No. 35491/63. Heading B3M. A rolling mill comprises horizontal rolls and vertical rolls supported in yokes bridging the housing windows, the yoke at the drive side being located between the drive spindles for the horizontal rolls and being capable of removal from the mill. The yoke is removed by releasing nuts 25 when the vertical rolls are not required, so that the driving means for smaller horizontal rolls may be set closer together. The vertical rolls are adjusted by screw-in gear 18.
