883,059. Rolling. MOELLER & NEUMANN G.m.b.H. Dec. 31, 1958 [Jan. 7, 1958], No. 42163/58. Class 83 (4). The roll unit 5 of an inclined roll frame e.g. for use in a continuous billet or bloom mill is mounted on a pivotal platform 6 which is lifted through about 45 degrees into the working position to engage with coupling spindles 3 positionally fixed at about 45 degrees to the horizontal or for removal of the roll unit from the frame the platform is lowered to a horizontal position. The roll spindle ends 4 automatically engage the coupling spindles 3 on raising the roll unit to the working position. The roll unit 5 is mounted on wheels and the platform is tilted by a toggle link drive 9, 10.
