Abstract
102,041. Frisch et Cie, A. Nov. 3. 1915. [Convention date]. Lathes.-A lathe turret is mounted on an axis parallel and adjacent to the work spindle. Traverse is imparted by a pawl 17 engaging one of a series of circular notches 13 and operated by a hand-lever 14, and is limited by adjustable stops 18 carried by the turret, one for each tool. An arm 23 may be provided carrying a nut segment for engagement with the lead-screw 6. The turret is indexed by adjustable stops 19 engaging a stop 20, and is rotatable when the turret is fully retracted, in which position the stops clear each other. When a transverse or surfacing feed is required, a stop such as the screw 21 and lock-nuts 22, or a cam or eccentric controlled stop is employed.
