142,194. Slade, H. V., Towndrow, E. J., and Garrard Engineering & Manufacturing Co. Jan. 29, 1919. Chucks; turning; cutter-bars.-A traversing and indicating device for a tool-holder comprises a micrometer screw f which moves a block e in a T- slot in the body b, with a divided scale and index mark h. The block is clamped, after adjustment, by a nut k, and the tool n is held in place by a nut p and collet w. The device is applicable to any running mandrel, tool-box, or slide-rest.
