Abstract

1,010,094. Block-bottom bags. DALE PRODUCTS (PLASTICS) Ltd. April 30, 1962 [May 5, 1961; June 19, 1961], Nos. 16496/61 and 22061/61. Addition to 951,437. Heading B8K. [Also in Division B5] A small outward welded protuberance 17 (Fig. 1) is left at the bottom of a bag formed as in parent Specification. The triangular patches 19 below the bottom welds 16 may be left in place, and welds 18 at the bottom of the blank may ensure that the portions 19 fold on to the bottom of the bag, as shown in Fig. 3. Alternatively the welds 18 may be omitted. A neck to the bag is formed by cutting both the side faces 10 and the gussets 15 to the shape shown in Fig. 1 and then welding the cut edges together to the form of Fig. 3.
