Abstract

1,152,310. Carrier bags.- A. T. RANSON, (Owens-Illinois Inc.). 14 May, 1966, No. 59569/68. Divided out of 1,151,886. Heading A4G. The integral Handle or a flattened plastics tubular bag is formed by a heat sealing seam 32 extending across the tube adjacent an open end, at least one additional sealing seam 33, 34 extending at an angle from seam 32 to form an isolated area 35, 36 and handle cut outs 37 in the isolated area. The isolated area may be formed by a V- seam intersecting the first seam at the bag edges.
