Abstract

1,022,595. Carrier bags. NEOPLASTIK BRAUNSCHWEIGER KUNSTOFFWERK G.m.b.H. Heading A4G. A bag 1 of plastics foil in which a carrying strap 3 of the same foil is welded or stuck on to or into the bag edges 4, 5 and extends over the width of the bag mouth. The bag is formed from a continuous tube of foil with a continuous strap inside or outside the tube, the strap being sealed to the edges when the tube is cut and sealed. The tube may have pleats 2, 3 produced in it, the pleat 2 forming the bag bottom and the pleat 3, when cut longitudinally, forming the bag mouth and carrying strap.
