Abstract

1407483 Plastics bags E P CHRISTIE 27 Sept 1972 [12 Oct 1971] 44529/72 Heading B8K A bag of polyethylene sealed at the bottom 15, and at the top, has a cutout 20 (Fig. 1, not shown) and a tear line 34 which extends into the cutout so that arms 32a, 32b can be obtained and used to tie round the top of the filled bag. The bag can have side gussets 16, 18 into which the cutout 20 extends to form handholes. The cutout may be circular and the tear line may extend in the direction of the longitudinal axis of the bag.
