Abstract

1,088,414. Bags. W. J. KEIRAN and M. C. CONNOR. Oct. 25, 1965 [Oct. 26, 1964], No. 43633/64. Heading A4G. [Also in Division B8] The neck 8 of a bag can be constricted and then pushed through a hole 6 which keeps the bag closed. The hole 6 may be formed in a tab 5 (Fig. 1) seamed at one or both sides to the bag, or to the bottom of the bag (Fig. 3, not shown), or the hole may be formed in one or both walls of the bag (Figs. 4 and 5, not shown). The bag may be heat sealed from polyethylene. The tab 5 may be coloured, and may be treated to enable it to be written on.
